JACKIE
A Life of Service, Faith, and Community
Jackie Gary Clarke is a devoted wife, loving mother, whose life has been dedicated to serving others. Guided by her faith, family values, and commitment to community, Jackie has spent decades working to improve the lives of children, families, seniors, and residents throughout Martin County and beyond. Jackie has matriculated through the Martin County public education system, and so has her children. Jackie believes that every child deserves a quality education.
Jackie began her career serving students as a paraprofessional, working closely with educators and children to help create positive learning environments. Through her work in education, she witnessed firsthand the challenges facing students, teachers, and families. Today, she continues her commitment to public service through her work with the Department of Health, where she helps support programs and services that strengthen the health and well-being of local communities.
A proven leader, Jackie previously served as Mayor for the Village of Indiantown, Florida, where she worked to bring people together, encourage transparency, and advocate for responsible growth. During her time in public office, she focused on improving communication between government and residents while ensuring that community voices were heard. Her leadership style has always centered on listening, collaboration, accountability, and putting people first.
Beyond her professional and elected service, Jackie remains deeply involved in numerous community organizations. She is an active member of the NAACP and is the founder of Indiantown Community Outreach, an organization dedicated to serving residents through education, resources, and community engagement. She continues to work alongside local leaders, faith-based organizations, nonprofits, and volunteers to create opportunities that empower families and strengthen neighborhoods. Jackie believes that strong communities are built through service, compassion, and a shared commitment to future generations.
